Range of CG automatic counter for capsules / tablets
Introduction
This range of automatic counting machines for capsules and tablets manufactured in stainless steel (316 stainless steel for parts in contact with the product) is suitable for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries.
The machines are equipped with photoelectric counting cells that allow them to achieve an error rate of less than 1 per 1000.
Available in 4 models at 8, 16, 24 and 48 channels respectively, these machines can operate at rates between 1,000 and 10,000 products per minute. For a given counting model there are always differences in rate related to the type of product but also to the quantity of products per bottle.
Applications
These counters are designed to work with capsules # 000 to # 5, tablets smaller than 22 mm and other small solid products and for bottles of 10 to 500 ml round or square.
Principle of operation
The products are inserted into the upper hopper. They then fall on vibrating channels whose number varies with the model of the machine (the more channels and the faster the machine goes up). By vibrating these channels the capsules, tablets and the like are lowered into another hopper in which they are stored and counted by means of photocells. When the number reached is that programmed easily via the touch screen, the hopper opens from below and the products fall by gravity into their bottle.
